COVID-19 Track & Trace - Updated 24 Sep 20

New guidelines set by the Government, The FA and EBFA on Tuesday 22/09/2020 which came into effect from Thursday 24/09/2020 state that all Club's must use QR Codes to 'track and trace' all attendees (including spectators) at each training session and home games using the NHS Track & Trace app. All sessions (games or training) will be held with current Government, The FA, BBFA, EBFA and OWTFC guidelines (as outlined on the OWTFC website under 'Covid19' tab).

You can download the NHS Track & Trace app here

Parents / carers are asked to read our website carefully, and to make their son / daughter aware of the contents.

If a player or accompanying parent / carer, or member of their household has had any Covid-related symptoms in the 14 days prior to any game or training session, they should self-isolate, notify their OWTFC coach and not attend any session unless they have had a test which has come back negative - your coach must be notified and may require evidence of a negative test result before the player can attend any session again.

No-one should attend any game or training session if they have been informed by NHS Track & Trace that they should self-isolate.

Players and accompanying parents / carers should only travel to/from games and training in family groups in cars, or if this is not possible by public transport wearing a mask and accompanied by an adult, in line with prevailing government guidelines.

Players should arrive at training or games with their own kit and water bottles. Players must sanitise their hands before entering the playing area and have their own sanitiser with them.

When not participating, players must observe social distancing at a suitable distance away from others. No handling of equipment. No leaning against fences, posts or other goals / equipment not in use. Handshakes, high-fives, hugs, etc must be avoided.

Everyone attending any session should observe respiratory etiquette – cover mouth when coughing or sneezing.

Any player showing Covid-related symptoms during training or a game will be immediately withdrawn from the Group and asked to go home.

Parents / carers attending any session must remain outside the playing area and keep socially distanced. No leaning against fences, posts, etc

If anyone attending any session develops any Covid-related symptoms in the 14 days after the training session or game ends they should self-isolate and notify their coach immediately, so, that NHS Track & Trace can be informed.

If you do not have a smart phone or cannot get the QR Code to work please see the Coach of the Team listed below and complete the manual form for that event.

A copy of the blank form can be found here
(NOTE - the coach will have a printed out version at each game or training session for you to complete)
